filed. The 78 preliminary study segments sit inside this area and are
available as open data at no765line.org/press-kit/.
Midcontinent Grid Solutions, the company behind the BECI 765 kV project, is hosting eight open house events throughout the project’s nine-county study area. These meetings are organized by the developer and they are not Public Service Commission hearings. Still, they offer an important opportunity to review the study-segment maps in person, speak directly with representatives, ask questions, and make your presence known.
There will not be a formal presentation, so attendees may stop by at any point during the scheduled time. Because the same materials will be available at each location, please attend whichever open house is most convenient for you—and consider inviting a neighbor to come along.
