This Slide Show Builds Informed Voters

At the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Convention, held this past June 13 through 14 at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI, delegates were presented with training workshops on a variety of subjects. One which I attended was “Voter Protection 101: Protecting the Vote, Securing the Dream.”

I envisioned a rundown of strategies for dealing with Federal agents at the polls, legal maneuvers to combat suppression, and other dark and foreboding issues. They did address these issues, but not how I expected. Tristan Angulo and Diana Arroyo conducted the training. They presented several of the basic, key factors that make us informed voters. And informed votes are the ones best able to deliver a properly completed and accepted ballot.

Tristan and Diana presented the information primarily through a slide deck. I captured most of the important elements of it and present the contents in slide show form here.
