Gubernatorial Candidate Forum Slated for April 11 at Historic Portage Center for the Arts

On Saturday, April 11 the CoCo Dems are hosting a Candidate Forum featuring candidates for Wisconsin Governor. The event takes place at the Portage Center for the Arts, 301 E. Cook St., Portage, WI

With the number of attendee registrations swelling to greater than anticipated numbers the Democratic Party of Columbia County (CoCo Dems) has moved the location of its April 11, 2026 Democratic Gubernatorial Forum from its headquarters to the Portage Center for the Arts 301 E. Cook St., Portage, WI.

Open to the public, doors open at 9:15 AM, Saturday, April 11, with the forum beginning at 10 AM. An opportunity for camaraderie, light snacks, and beverages will follow in the Drury Gallery until 1 PM.

Organizers have received confirmation of participation from Mandela Barnes, David Crowley, Rep. Francesca Hong, Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, Zachary Roper, and Sen. Kelda Roys.

This forum follows the very successful WI Congressional District 6 Democratic Candidate Forum that was held on December 13, 2025, with participation by five of the six candidates. The organization is well known for its many candidate-centered educational events.
