Office Manager’s Report: Stay Cool With Us, Sign Up, Donate to Food Bank
by Connie Haessly, Office Manager, CoCo Dems
Greetings!
I hope you are doing well and enjoying the summer weather! We have some important elections coming up in August and November this year. We are continuing to work on our visibility in the community by staffing our office. Currently, we have office hours on Thursdays (12-4), Fridays (12-3), and Saturdays (9-12).
We could use a little help filling some days:
Fridays: July 17
Saturdays: July 25
If you're able to help in the office on any of the dates listed, please reach out to me at connie.haessly@gmail.com.
If you're interested in getting involved by volunteering, please reach out and let me know dates and times you'd like to help in the office, as we could open our doors other days.
Lastly, if you're receiving this email and you no longer want to get notices or volunteer, please let me know so that I can remove your email from our list. Thanks again for all you've done or currently are doing to help move Columbia County Dems forward.
Volunteers WIN elections!
Staying Cool
I hope everyone is staying cool in the warm and humid summer weather. Just a friendly reminder that the CoCo Dems office is open on Thursdays from noon to 4:00, Fridays from noon to 3:00, and Saturdays from 9:00 to noon. Come on over and enjoy the air conditioning with our volunteers! August 11 is coming up quickly, and we’d be thrilled to have more volunteers to show our presence in the office. We have signs for the 6th CD candidates and gubernatorial candidates available.
We’d really like to see more Democratic candidate signs along our streets and roads than other candidates running for office. This primary is very important, so please think of ways you can help our party. If you can’t help in the office, please talk to family and friends about the importance of voting blue.
Food Donations
If you are able to bring perishable food and health and beauty items for our food donation collection it would be appreciated. We would love to be able to make another donation to the local food pantry this summer. Many families depend on school meals for their children. With school out for the summer some families may be struggling with food insecurities. Some suggested items may include:
