September 12 (In Lieu of Monthly Meeting): Annual CoCoDem Office Open House. Drop in any time between 9:00-12:00! Celebrating one year at our new location. Donuts. Dems. Democracy. Open to all. Bring a friend, bring a neighbor, spread the word. Help grow our awareness, our membership, and our commitment to moving WI forward. It takes all of us! (No regular monthly membership meeting on this date)
Picnic: Our annual picnic will be on Saturday, September 19 from 11:00-3:00 at the MacKenzie Environmental Center. CoCoDems will provide hot dogs, buns, sandwiches, and beverages. Please see the linked sign up for items needed to make this event a success!

Saturday October 10: Guest Percy Brown Jr. Percy Brown Jr is an educational leader, author, and community advocate. He will explore how public education remains one of the last truly democratic institutions in American life. He will invite participants to reflect on how leadership, community partnership, and sustained investment in children—across geography and difference—are essential to democracy, not as an ideal, but as a daily practice.

2nd Wednesday Events
We need your ideas! The office is open every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:00-7:00 for conversation, engagement, presentations, training, and… what is important to you?
September 9th and October 14th. Open Office Hours. 5:00-7:00. Get Out the Vote! Join us between 5:00-7:00 at the Columbia County Democratic Office. Volunteer, pick up a sign, friend bank, make calls, send a post card, learn more about canvassing, call your elected officials, write a letter to the editor, or just stop in to let us know what is on your mind. Together, we win in November!
VOLUNTEERS! We are always looking for members who would like to join the Events Committee. We meet in person the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 3:30-4:30 and virtually the 4th Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:00. If you can not commit to committee work, but would be willing to help us plan annual events ( Dinner, Picnic, Columbia County Fair) let me know! Please email me at cbusdems@gmail.com
