We’re Busy!
This is the critical canvassing season. Canvassing on behalf of our candidates will continue this Saturday and Sunday. Phone Banking will be happening at the Democratic Party of Columbia County headquarters as well, 315 DeWitt St., Portage, WI 53901.

Political canvassing may sound intimidating, yet Ann Groves-Lloyd, 1st Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Columbia County describes it in simpler terms: “It really is just storytelling and having a conversation.”

There is so much at stake this November, but there is also tremendous opportunity. For the first time in years, we have a real chance to elect David Crawley as Governor, flip the State Assembly and Senate, and achieve a Democratic trifecta in Wisconsin. But we need everyone helping to make it happen.

Join the Columbia County Dems for cheers, light snacks, and opportunities to make your voice heard. There is something for everyone. We’re meeting on September 9 and October 14 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the CoCo Dems Office, 315 DeWitt Street, in Portage.

The Democratic Party of Columbia County is excited to welcome Sam Clark, our new WisDems field organizer who is helping to build volunteer energy across Columbia County and neighboring communities.

Sam comes to this work from Madison, after previously living in New York. He says the decision to get involved came after realizing that a corporate job was not where he wanted to put his energy.
